I have been on a very long break from NOLF, haven't played it for months. I am not fully updated with the current mod news, but I was wondering has there been relased any new good mods currently? I am still waiting for example for Spawn's return of harm chapter 2 and that "Man from Unity" -mod. Does anyone know anything about these mods and their possible download links?

Didn't heard anything about the "Return of harm Part 2". I think it isn't released yet....
I am also waiting since a very long time, because the first part was really great! |

Yeah, I tried to search the latest news from Spawns spawnsite.net and the man from unity -mod's news from badgerbones.com, but both pages were dead and not active. What the heck is happening here, like the whole nolf community would be sleeping, this forum is very quiet, many great modders' modpages are dead and so...

That is still very mystical, why all, okay not maybe all, but still many great modders desert the nolf community because it cannot be played online, why wouldn't they focus on singleplayer missions instead? One year ago I remember how this forum was very active, all modders were introducing their great new mods and there was plenty of new material to download, and online matches were fun. Now after returning to nolf here's nothing left... very strange ineded.

Hello Nolfers !
Recently some other friends of mine at a multiplayer friendly pc game modding website decided to try out their game and their mods on a new server which was not connected to the games publisher and they were successful . I don't know if it costs anything or not, but the game had onboard software for setting up a server and they seem to be able to play in multiplayer mode . Perhaps that ability was possible only because their game was designed for that but maybe it is also possible with Nolf . What I think they did was to acquire a server account and then they uploaded a copy of the multiplayer mission to the server and then each player had to have the exact same copy of that mission on their pcs to participate in the missions multiplayer mode . I do suppose that it might be possible for Nolfer Multiplayer's to do the same thing . Maybe this documentation will give some multiplying nolfers some ideas about setting up their own multiplayer server so that they can continue to enjoy that tasty Nolfing multiplayer Bliss & Glory . Here is link which documents the process & procedure which they used to play their game in multiplayer mode ; http://www.starshattermods.com/forum...?thread_id=622 Happy Nolfing Everybody ! |

As for my mod, I've been way too busy with a lot of things. I've had no time available for this stuff at all. But someday! hopefully.. Would be fun to complete it, some way or another. |
